From aspiring ballet dancers preparing for pointe work to professional performers seeking to optimise their technique and strength, we provide care tailored to your discipline and needs.

If you’re not booking in for one of our listed appointment types but have an injury, concern, or specific performance goal you’d like help with, we recommend starting with an Initial Physiotherapy Appointment. This gives us the time to explore what’s going on, understand your unique needs, and create a personalised plan to get you feeling and performing your best.

Pre-Pointe Assessment

This is for the ballet dancer looking to take the next step in their ballet training and prepare to commence en pointe! Whether you are a young dancer or adult dancer, 3 years before commencing pointe work or 3 months, this is the place to start.  

Our pointe readiness assessment is comprehensive with our dedication to ‘being informed and being in form’ shining through in our focus on both the education and physical preparation aspects of the pre-pointe journey. We will discuss the outcomes of your assessment, your individual recommendations around progressing to pointe, and provide the necessary exercise program to help you reach your goal.

Duration: 60 minutes

Inclusions: Pre-Pointe Equipment Pack including a pilates ball and theraband to support your individualised exercise program prescribed during your appointment, and a detailed report sent to your ballet teacher summarising your outcomes and plan.

Pre-Pointe Review

This appointment is for those who have already had their Pre-Pointe Assessment with us and are returning to review their progress! 

We will re-assess your readiness for those yet to pass and update your exercise program to reflect your current progress and ongoing goals.

Duration: 30 minutes

En Pointe Review

This session is designed for dancers who have already completed their Pre-Pointe Assessment and have begun their journey en pointe, typically around 4–6 weeks after starting pointe work.

During this appointment, you’ll bring your pointe shoes for assessment to ensure they are the best fit and style for your foot and technique. We’ll review your strength, mobility, and alignment to check your progress and address any areas of difficulty or discomfort.

This is the perfect opportunity to discuss any questions, concerns, or focus areas to help you feel confident, safe, and strong in your pointe work.

Duration: 30 minutes

Tertiary Dance Assessment

If you have been asked to complete a Tertiary Dance Assessment for your university dance application, certificate course in dance, or an audition, this is what this appointment is for! 

We have completed Tertiary Dance Assessments for students entering into various programs all over the country and internationally and are experienced in the various assessment forms used. We can also help you to understand your outcomes and any areas you may be able to improve!

Duration: 45 minutes 
Inclusions: Completed report in digital and/or hard copy.
